The 21st International Conference on Descriptional Complexity of Formal Systems is organized by the Košice branch of the Mathematical Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, by the Slovak Artificial Intelligence Society (SAIS), and by the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP), working group 1.2: Descriptional Complexity. In 2002, DCFS was the result of the merger of DCAGRS (Descriptional Complexity of Automata, Grammars and Related Structures) and FDSR (Formal Descriptions and Software Reliability).
The general home website of the conference: http://www.informatik.uni-giessen.de/dcfs/ Photos from DCFS 2019 are available here. Proceedings of DCFS 2019 are available online at https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-030-23247-4DCFS 2020 was supposed to be held in Vienna, Austria. It was cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic. Instead of the conference, a collection of papers was published. The proceedings from DCFS are published in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series by Springer. Selected papers will be invited for consideration in a special issue of Information and Computation.
