34th International Summer Conference on Real Functions Theory

September 2020

Mathematical Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences announces that the

34th International Summer Conference on Real Functions Theory

with topics including but not limiting to generalized continuity, derivatives, integration, topology, measure, multifunctions, structures on the real line, as well as their applications, will this year take a form of an online event. The main activity is planned for the week from September 7 to September 13, 2020, although we suppose that the contributions on the website will be available for a longer time.

The main form of the contributing to the virtual conference is by sending us a pdf document with a slide presentation or a short article. The contributions will then be available on this website (for registered participants only) for reading, commenting, and asking questions.

We have asked

Lev Bukovský (Košice, Slovakia)
Emmanuel Chetcuti (Imsida, Malta)
Stanisław Kowalczyk (Słupsk, Poland)

to prepare principal presentations.

We do not plan any form of online video conferencing. However, we did not completely abandon this idea yet, and its realization will depend on our time and technical limits. Participants who wish to deliver an online video lecture, know how to do it, and want to help us with technicalities, are encouraged to contact us (via email or via registration form).

Researchers whose interests fit in the general aims of the conference are warmly invited to participate. There is no conference fee, albeit participants have to register. If you are interested, please fill in the registration form. The deadline for registration is September 6, 2020. See our schedule.

As usual, a special issue of Tatra Mountains Mathematical Publications, the journal of Slovak Academy of Sciences, will be published. The usual journal reviewing process will be used, and the usual high standards of TMMP will be applied to submissions.

We hope that a virtual ISCRFT 2020 will benefit all friends of real functions.
