Cancellation announcement

Due to the uncertainty regarding the current situation, we are very sorry to announce that the event Summer School on General Algebra and Ordered Sets, which was to take place in Čingov, Slovakia, in the dates 30 of August – 5 of September, is cancelled.

We hope to be able to organize the conference in 2021.

are organizing the traditional

SUMMER SCHOOL ON GENERAL ALGEBRA AND ORDERED SETS 2020.

The mathematical community is warmly invited to attend. The conference will take place in

Hotel Čingov, Smižany, Slovakia from August 30 – September 5, 2020.

The conference programme will consist of series of lectures by invited speakers and contributed talks by other conference participants.

Sunday, August 30, is the arrival day, the program will start on August 31, and end on September 5 around noon.

Čingov is one of the best known tourist centres in Slovak Paradise National Park. It is located in the northeast part of the national park, near the town Spišská Nová Ves.

Slovak Paradise National Park situated in the eastern part of Slovakia contains one of the biggest ice caves in Europe and an attractive landscape of karstic plateaux, gorges, waterfalls and caves. The lodging in the hotel is comfortable and the place meets well the needs of a scientific meeting. It provides accommodation in 2-bed rooms with a shower and a toilet. If the capacity of the hotel allows it, we can offer single occupancy for a limited number of participants.

The total cost of the conference (including accommodation (double room), full board and the conference fee) is 450 EUR. For the accompanying persons the price is 400 EUR. For details on fees and payment possibilities see here.
